MagicSpam® PRO 2.1-8 is Now Released!

VANCOUVER, BC: LinuxMagic is proud to announce it has now released version 2.1-8 for the MagicSpam PRO product line. This release increases the power and flexibility of the product by allowing Hosting Providers the ability to not only enforce top level policies at the server level, but also allows them to gain global control over end user settings and defaults to allow for a much smoother process of administration.

In addition, this release introduces additional spam protection by porting a series of content filtering rules used successfully by ISPs and Telcos throughout North America to bolster and identify spam using content filtering systems already built into hosting panel servers. "This is an exciting release for MagicSpam PRO" said Shaun Johnson, CTO of LinuxMagic. "Not only does this release drive the product maturity towards a more encompassing enterprise solution for the Hosting Industry, it also gives us the tools to help protect end users from Too big to Block outbreaks that might leak from Freemail type providers as well as offers a way to prevent fresh outbreaks from sources that might otherwise have had a great reputation prior to a compromise. We are starting with filtering support in our PRO for WHM/cPanel product line, but most definitely are aiming to provide the same support for Plesk PRO in the near future".

MagicSpam PRO is designed to run on Plesk Panel 12 and higher, and cPanel® version 11.64 and higher. At this time this product line is only available for Linux based platforms of each respective Panel software.
